SATO SK-L200 SERIES Communication Driver

 

SK-L200 SERIES is driver to communicate with temperature/humidity measuring instrument of SATO KEIRYOKI MFC. CO., LTD in Japan.

 

Importance) SATO SK-L200 SERIES device not demand data at Naver me computer, and it sends measured data at controller.

Therefore, you have to set as communication mode( Data sending mode ) by pressing CALL/OUT button after turn on the power of device.

 

1. Read settings

 

<Figure 1> is read setting example of SATO SK-L200 SERIES communication driver.

Device part of <Figure 1> input Com Port(COM1), Baud Rate(9600), Parity Bit(0), Data Bit(8), Stop Bit(1) respectively, according to device.

Notice) Device setting of SATO SK-L200 SERIES driver are fixed as 9600, 0, 8, 1.

 

Read schedule example)

READ STATION Read Command Read Address (Don't care) Save Address Read Size ( Fixed to 1)

1) STATION : Don't care ( Fixed to 0 )

2) Read Command : Don't care ( Fixed to 0 )

3) Read Start Address : Don't care ( Fixed to 0 )

4) Save Start Address for Communication Server : Saving start address of Communication Server. ( 0 ~ 9999 )

5) Read Size : Read size. ( Always set as 1, Refer to <Table 1> about real read data size and contents )

If you click the icon  in protocol option part at <Figure 1>, you can see the dialog box such as <Figure 2>. You can also set read schedule by using this part.

You can set read schedule by using , , button and listbox of <Figure 2>.

When you click Add button or Edit button in dialog box of <Figure 2>, dialog box of <Figure 3> is shown.

 

2. Writing settings

There is no writing setting for SATO SK-L200 Series, because it is read only controller.

 

3. Device setting of SATO SK-L200 SERIES

 

Serial communication cable connection

Connect Serial communication cable supported at SATO Co. to the bottom left terminal of SATO SK-L200 SERIES device. ( Refer to <Figure 4> )

Connection of temperature/humidity sensor

Connect temperature/humidity sensor supported at SATO Co. to the upper left terminal of SATO SK-L200 SERIES device, such as <Figure 4>.

 

Power connection of device

Connect battery to the rear of SATO SK-L200 SERIES device or connect DC 6V power to the bottom left.

 

Device power ON/OFF

If you press POWER ON/OFF button of the front of SATO SK-L200 SERIES device between 1 ~ 2sec, you can ON/OFF the power.

 

Communication mode setting of device

If you press CALL/OUT button of the front of SATO SK-L200 SERIES device, you can set communication/non communication mode.

In case of communication mode, OUT letter is displayed at LCD screen.

 

Importance) To communicate with SATO device, device have to be set as communication mode( Data sending ).
